Pets Pass It On is the biggest pet paraphernalia spare share ever, designed to make pet ownership more accessible and sustainable for pet parents around the UK.

We're aiming to get thousands of items listed, so other pet parents can collect them for free.

OLIO has more than six million neighbours using its app, giving away food, household goods and now, pet supplies! Join in and you'll feel good sharing your spares at a time when household budgets are squeezed. Even better, your pet will be spoilt for choice!

How to start sharing

  1. Using your phone, download and open the OLIO sharing app. You'll be taken to your app store, where you download OLIO and register for an account.

  2. List any spare pet items you have. It could be food that is still in date, toys, poo bags or whatever you have that you no longer need.

  3. Pet parents interested in your items request them and come and pick them up from you at a convenient time.

  4. Do you need something for your pet? Search for items in your area using the app

What items can I share?

The OLIO app splits listings into two categories, 'food', and 'non-food'. So long as it's new, there is no limit to the types of pet items you can list. Dig around your house and find goods, goodies and perfect pet plunder for the fur babies in your community:

  • Leftover bags and tins of unopened food and treats

  • Unused toys, teddies and chews

  • Beds, fleecy soft bedding, snuggly igloos and scratching trees

  • Grooming gear like brushes, combs, shampoo, conditioner and tangle spray

  • Unworn pet clothing and fashion accessories

  • Poo bags and scoopers

  • Leads - adjustable, retractable, hands-free, or long line!
