As part of our global strategy, ManyPets is pausing new pet insurance sales and policy renewals in the U.S. To keep your pet’s coverage uninterrupted, we’ve partnered with Odie Pet Insurance, a provider with the same values and commitment to pet care that you’ve come to trust from us.
Change can feel unsettling, especially when it involves your pet’s health insurance. But don’t worry—ManyPets and Odie are working together to make this transition as smooth and simple as possible.
The ManyPets-to-Odie transition
If you’re a current ManyPets policyholder, your coverage will remain active until your next annual renewal date. When that time comes, Odie will take over as your new provider. You’ll receive a notification well in advance of your renewal, giving you time to review Odie’s terms, pricing, and coverage details. Odie will honor your existing policy’s conditions—including any existing health conditions covered by ManyPets—so there won’t be any surprises.
During this transition, you’ll still be able to submit claims through ManyPets for any ongoing or past treatments, right up until the day your policy switches to Odie. You’ll even be able to submit outstanding ManyPets claims after your policy ends.
After your transition, Odie’s user-friendly claims process will kick in, and you’ll be able to manage everything through their portal.
Why we chose Odie
When we began searching for a partner to take over our U.S. renewals, Odie stood out because of their shared values and commitment to excellent customer service. Like ManyPets, Odie believes in flexible, comprehensive plans that meet the needs of both pets and pet parents. They also offer a streamlined claims process and top-tier support—two things we know are vital for your pet’s care.
One major reason for choosing Odie is their commitment to continuity. Any existing conditions covered by your ManyPets policy will continue to be covered under Odie. This is a huge advantage, especially since many insurance providers won’t cover pre-existing conditions if you switch to them. By renewing with Odie, you’ll make sure your pet’s health care remains uninterrupted and comprehensive.
What stays the same, and what’s new
The core of your coverage will stay the same under Odie. Your pet will continue to receive care for any conditions that were covered by your ManyPets plan, and there will be no gap in protection. The most noticeable change will be that Odie, rather than ManyPets, will handle all claims, customer service inquiries, and policy updates once the transition is complete.
Odie may also introduce a few of their own features to enhance your experience. This includes a dedicated customer support team with veterinary expertise, as well as new options for managing your pet’s wellness and insurance needs. They’ll provide full details on any slight changes to coverage—like wellness plan options—before your renewal date.
The next steps
Here’s what you can expect as the transition approaches:
Odie will reach out: You’ll receive a notification from Odie well before your ManyPets policy expires. This communication will include details about your continued coverage, information on any policy changes, and your updated renewal quote.
Enjoy uninterrupted care: Your policy will transfer over seamlessly with no lapses. Once you’ve renewed with Odie, you’ll have continuous coverage for your pet’s current and future health needs. Odie’s support team will be available to assist with any questions, and their claims process will be simple and transparent.
What to keep in mind
We understand that switching to a new provider can feel like a big change, but we’re confident that Odie will offer the same level of care and support you’ve experienced with ManyPets. They were chosen specifically for their shared dedication to keeping pets healthy and happy, so rest assured that your pet is in good hands.
If your pet has any existing conditions that are currently covered by ManyPets, renewing with Odie ensures that those conditions continue to be covered without interruption. Again, choosing a different provider might mean losing coverage for these conditions, so it’s something to consider carefully.
Moving forward with Odie
As your policy nears its renewal date, keep an eye on your inbox for more information from Odie. This transition marks an exciting new chapter, and we’re confident that you’ll find Odie’s plans and service just as supportive as ManyPets.
We’re grateful for your trust and loyalty, and we’re committed to making this transition as easy as possible. If you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer service team—we’re here to help guide you through this change every step of the way.
