ManyPets to Odie

You have questions. We have answers.

Transition overview

Why is ManyPets no longer offering new or renewed policies in the US?

Globally, ManyPets is making important changes, and, as part of that, we’re pausing both new policy sales and renewals in the US under the ManyPets brand. But we don’t want to leave you and your pet in a tough position. That’s why we’ve partnered with Odie to offer a seamless transition for your policy renewal, including coverage of your pet’s existing conditions, so you won’t miss a beat or lose any coverage.

What does it mean for Odie Pet Insurance to take over ManyPets’ policies?

Odie taking over ManyPets' policies means that when your current ManyPets policy reaches its renewal date, Odie will become your new pet insurance provider. They will manage all aspects of your renewed policy, so you continue to receive coverage without any gaps. Odie will also continue to cover any existing health conditions that are covered under your ManyPets policy (though not ones that pre-date your current policy).

While your policy terms remain largely the same, Odie will handle claims, customer service, and any questions you may have moving forward.

Why did ManyPets choose Odie?

ManyPets chose Odie because they share similar values and a strong commitment to providing pet parents with high-quality, comprehensive pet insurance. Odie is known for offering flexible plans, excellent customer service, and a simple claims process—all qualities that complement ManyPets' own mission of keeping pets happy and healthy.

When will the transfer to Odie officially take effect?

The transfer to Odie will take effect when your current ManyPets policy reaches its renewal date. You’ll receive communication from Odie well in advance of this date with information on your new policy terms and renewal quote to ensure you continue to receive seamless coverage for your pet. Until your renewal date, your ManyPets policy remains active and fully operational, so there’s no immediate change to your coverage.

Policy validity and renewal

Will my ManyPets policy still be valid after the transition to Odie?

Your ManyPets policy will remain valid until its renewal date. After that, your coverage will transition to Odie, which means your current ManyPets policy will no longer be in effect once the renewal occurs. However, Odie will provide a new policy that continues covering your pet, including any conditions already covered under your ManyPets plan. There won’t be any gaps in your pet’s coverage.

Will my policy renew with Odie automatically?

Yes, you will receive a renewal email from Odie Pet Insurance with updates to your current policy terms and a new annual pet insurance quote. All communication from Odie will provide the date at which your new policy will begin, and your credit card will be charged on the Policy Effective Date.

Can I choose to transfer to Odie before my annual renewal date?

Your ManyPets policy will remain active until your annual renewal date, so you won't be able to transfer to Odie before then. To avoid any gaps in coverage, it’s best to let your ManyPets policy run its full term. Once it expires, Odie will take over and continue providing coverage without interruption

How will I know when it’s time to renew my policy under Odie?

You’ll receive communication from ManyPets and Odie with clear details about your upcoming policy renewal well before your renewal date. This message will include everything you need to know about continuing your coverage, as well as updated pricing, so keep an eye on your inbox as the date approaches.

What happens if my pet has a new health condition after I renew with Odie?

If your pet develops a new health condition after you renew with Odie, it will be covered according to the terms of your new policy, just like any other condition that arises during the policy period.

Coverage and rates

Will I get the same rates at Odie?

Your rates with Odie will be exactly what they would have been with your scheduled ManyPets renewal. Rates may still increase at renewal, but this always would have been the case. You’ll receive full details about your specific rates and coverage before your renewal date.

Will my policy coverage details – deductible, reimbursement percentage, annual limit – change under Odie?

Odie is the best source for these details, but some change is likely to occur.

Can I keep my pet’s Wellness Plan?

Yes, you can keep your pet’s Wellness Plan when your policy transitions to Odie. Odie will provide you with a clear breakdown of any updates to the Wellness Plan so you’ll know exactly what’s included moving forward.

Will any pet insurance company cover my pet’s existing conditions—or just Odie?

Just Odie. If you transfer your pet’s coverage to a different pet insurance company, any of your pet’s current health issues will likely be considered pre-existing conditions and may not be covered. As a result, we’d strongly advise you to renew with Odie if your pet has existing health problems that are currently covered under your ManyPets policy.

Claims and support

Can I still submit claims to ManyPets if I have an existing policy or policies?

Yes! If you’re a current ManyPets policyholder, you can continue to submit claims to ManyPets as usual. And until renewal of your policy (or policies), we’ll continue to provide the great customer service and support you’ve grown to know.

How do I submit claims for dates before my ManyPets policy expires or I renew with Odie?

You can still submit any claims for treatment that occurred while your ManyPets policy was active directly to ManyPets. Our team will process them just as we always have. Your Odie policy will take over from the renewal date onward, so there will be no gap in coverage for your pet.

What happens to ManyPets claims that are currently under review?

If you have a claim currently under review with ManyPets, it will continue to be processed as usual, even after the transition to Odie. You don’t need to worry—our team is still handling claims for active policies, and you’ll receive updates just as you always have.

How do claims work at Odie?

Odie offers a straightforward claims process similar to ours at ManyPets. Once your policy transitions, you’ll submit claims directly through your Odie customer portal.

We’ll provide plenty of information before the switch, so keep an eye on your inbox. And remember, we’re here to answer all of your questions during this time. Don’t hesitate to reach out!

Will I still get customer support from ManyPets after my policy renews under Odie?

For any claims related to your ManyPets policy, yes, you’ll still receive customer support from ManyPets. However, once your policy renews with Odie, all new claims and policy questions will be handled by Odie's customer support team. One of the reasons we partnered with Odie is because they’re committed to excellent customer service just like we are, so you’ll continue to receive the same level of care and attention for your pet's needs. In fact, all members of the Odie Support team have veterinary experience, so you’ll receive exceptional care.

App and online portal access

Will the ManyPets app and online portal continue to function or will a new one be available to me?

Yes, the ManyPets app and online portal will continue to function, but only for managing claims related to your existing ManyPets policy. Once your policy renews with Odie, you’ll need to use Odie’s platforms to submit and manage any new claims. Odie will provide all the necessary details on how to access their online portal when your policy renews.

Will Odie have an online portal or app for managing claims and policy updates?

Upon renewal of your policy, you will receive email communications from Odie on how to access your exclusive member portal where you can review policy details, submit claims, check claims status, and access 24/7 TeleVet chat with a licensed vet.

Payments and billing

How will I make payments to Odie after the transition?

The payment process will continue to be seamless. When your policy transitions to Odie, your credit card will be automatically charged on the renewal date and every subsequent month thereafter.

How do I contact Odie Pet Insurance regarding questions or changes to my renewal?

Odie’s Member Support team can be reached via email at support@odiepetinsurance.com or via phone at 877-327-0471. They’re available 8am-5pm CST. Calls are answered in real time during business hours in the order in which they were received. All emails are responded to within 24 business hours.
