1. ManyPets ChatGPT Plugin – Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the ManyPets Plugin on ChatGPT (the “Plugin”), an AI-enabled service provided by ManyPets Ltd. By using the Plugin, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not use the Plugin.
The Plugin is operated by ManyPets Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with registered address Unit 1b, 1–10 Summers Street, London EC1R 5BD. ManyPets Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under register number 652623.
These Terms of Use should be read alongside our Website Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any relevant policy terms or insurance product documents. You should retain a copy of these Terms of Use for your records.
2. Definitions In these Terms of Use:
“AI Outputs” means the responses, content, information, indicative prices, quote summaries, links, or other materials displayed to you in ChatGPT when you use the Plugin. AI Outputs may include information generated by ChatGPT, information returned from ManyPets systems, or a combination of both.
“ManyPets”, “we”, “us” or “our” means ManyPets Lt
“Plugin” means the ManyPets Plugin made available to you within ChatGPT. The Plugin allows ChatGPT, based on information you provide, to request information from ManyPets’ hosted systems and display ManyPets information, indicative quote results, and links to continue a quote on the ManyPets website.
“Privacy Policy” means our privacy policy as updated from time to time.
“User”, “you” or “your” means the person accessing or using the Plugin.
“User Content” means any input, prompt, query, data, information, feedback, or other material you provide to or through the Plugin.
3. What the ManyPets ChatGPT Plugin Does:
The Plugin enables ChatGPT to retrieve indicative prices and product information from ManyPets to utilise this information in conversation with ChatGPT. The Plugin is provided for information and convenience only, and you acknowledge that you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system on the ChatGPT platform and not a human agent. AI Outputs are generated based on the information you provide and available data sources, and you should contact our customer support team on 0345 340 4090 where you require human assistance. Your use of any AI Outputs is at your own risk. OpenAI provides the underlying AI model only and is not authorised or regulated by the FCA.
4. Important Limitations
No advice or recommendations: The Plugin does not provide financial, insurance, legal or any other advice or recommendations. Any information provided is general in nature, does not take account of your personal circumstances, may include indicative pricing only, and should not be relied upon as a recommendation. You must review full policy documents and, where appropriate, seek professional advice before making decisions.
Accuracy and verification: AI Outputs may not always be accurate, complete or up to date, and errors or omissions may occur. You must independently verify important information before relying on it.
No binding quotes or offers: Any quotes, prices or product information provided via the Plugin are indicative only, may change depending on full details and underwriting checks, and do not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.
Veterinary and pet health limitation: The Plugin does not provide veterinary or pet health advice; any information relating to pet health, behaviour or wellbeing is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. You should always consult a qualified veterinary professional for advice relating to your pet.
AI-specific disclosures: The Plugin relies on generative AI technology. AI Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date and may not reflect current product terms or eligibility. AI Outputs are not tailored to your circumstances and are not advice of any kind, including veterinary, medical, financial or legal advice. The Plugin does not make, and must not be treated as making, any binding offer or acceptance, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship arises between you and us through your use of the Plugin. You remain solely responsible for how you use and rely upon AI Outputs. Whilst the Plugin contains parameters set out by ManyPets, the AI Outputs may not always reflect the parameters put in place by ManyPets.
5. Use of Third-Party AI Technology:
The Plugin is powered partly by third-party providers, such as OpenAI, and your interactions may be processed by such third-party providers; we may share information with them only as necessary to provide the service. You must comply with any applicable terms, policies and acceptable use requirements of such providers as may be notified or linked from time to time. Except where required by law, we are not responsible for third-party services, content or terms. Please see our Privacy Policy for further details about how we handle your information.
6. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use:
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and to use the Plugin for lawful purposes only. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not:
upload or input unlawful, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, deceptive, or otherwise harmful content;
upload or input personal data that is not necessary for your use of the Plugin, including special category data, unless we specifically request it for a permitted purpose;
use the Plugin in a way that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, breaches a legal duty, or violates any law or regulation;
attempt to extract underlying models, systems, algorithms, or training data, or use prompts to reveal or bypass safety filters or security controls;
copy, scrape, harvest, index or otherwise collect data from the Plugin by automated means;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying components of the Plugin or any associated models, except to the extent such restrictions are not permitted by law;
probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or interfere with, disrupt or overload the Plugin or related systems;
misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity; or
use the Plugin to develop or train competing models or services, or to generate spam, malware, or content for harmful purposes.
7. User Content, AI Outputs and Intellectual Property
Your User Content: You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant to ManyPets a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, and create derivative works from your User Content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Plugin, including to monitor abuse, ensure safety and quality, and enhance prompts, guardrails and system performance, in each case as described in and subject to our Privacy Policy.
AI Outputs: To the extent permitted by applicable law and relevant third-party terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AI Outputs for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. AI Outputs may be similar or identical to content provided to others. You are responsible for checking AI Outputs for accuracy and legality before relying on or sharing them. If AI Outputs include our or a third party’s intellectual property, your use is limited to what is permitted by these Terms of Use or by law.
Our materials: All intellectual property rights in the Plugin and the content, technology and systems used in it (including AI models, responses and branding) are owned by us or our licensors; you may use the Plugin for personal, non-commercial use only and must not copy, distribute or exploit any part of the service without permission. You must not use our logos, trademarks or service marks without our prior written consent.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We may collect and use information you provide through the Plugin to respond to your queries, improve our services, and to train and enhance our AI systems; chat transcripts and a responses may be stored and reviewed for these purposes; all personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws. We will be transparent about how we use your information and will seek consent where required by law. Do not provide special category data unless we specifically ask for it for a permitted purpose.
9. Availability, Changes and Maintenance
We do not guarantee that the Plugin will be available at all times or operate without error or interruption, and we may suspend, update or withdraw the Plugin at any time without notice. We may change features or functionality to improve performance, security or compliance.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights.
Subject to the above and to your statutory rights:
We provide the Plugin and AI Outputs “as is” and “as available”.
We are not responsible for losses that were not caused by our breach or negligence, or that were not foreseeable to you and us when you began using the Plugin.
We are not responsible for any lack of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of AI Outputs, or for your reliance on AI Outputs, including any decisions you make or actions you take based on AI Outputs.
We do not exclude or limit liability for our failure to supply the Plugin with reasonable care and skill, but if we fail to do so you may be entitled to have us re-perform the relevant service where applicable.
We are not liable for business losses. The Plugin is for domestic and private use. If you use it for any commercial or business purpose, we will have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
We will not be responsible for losses resulting from events outside our reasonable control.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Plugin immediately if you breach these Terms of Use, misuse the Plugin, we are required to do so by law or by a third-party provider, or where necessary to protect security, integrity or other users. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms of Use will end, and you must stop using the Plugin. Clauses which by their nature should continue will continue after termination, including those on intellectual property, liability, and governing law.

The Plugin may reference or interact with third-party services or providers; we do not control third-party content, are not responsible for third-party products or services, and do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of external information.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time; the latest version will be available, and your continued use of the Plugin after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your complaint, you may be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service, which is an independent body established to resolve disputes between financial services firms and their customers.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
