The dog breeds we don’t cover are:

  • American Blue

  • American Bull Terrier

  • American Bulldog (if your dog was covered with us before 23/01/2023, we'll continue covering them)

  • American Bully XL

  • American Bully XXL

  • American Bully

  • American Staffordshire Terrier

  • Amstaff

  • Bully XL

  • Cane Corso (if your dog was covered with us before 19/03/2024, we'll continue covering them)

  • Czech Wolfdog

  • Dogo Argentino

  • Fila Brasileiro

  • Japanese Tosa

  • Pitbull Terrier

  • Pocket Bully

  • Saarloos Wolfhound or other Wolf hybrid

  • XL Bully

  • Any dog that meets the UK Government’s definition of an XL bully, whether registered as exempt or not.

We stopped offering new policies for any Cane Corso breeds. This includes any dog which is crossed with a Cane Corso.

We stopped offering new policies for any dog that meets the UK Government’s definition of an XL bully, whether registered as exempt or not.
