These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for participation in the ManyPets Ltd Beta App Testing Programme ("the Beta Testing Programme"). By signing up or participating in the Beta Testing Programme, you ("Participant" or "you") agree to these Terms and any accompanying guidelines issued by ManyPets (‘’MP’’, "the Company", "we", "us", or "our").
1. Overview and Participation
1.1 The Beta Testing Programme allows selected participants to test pre-release versions of the ManyPets Ltd App (“Beta App”) and provide feedback to support product development and testing.
1.2 Participants take part on a voluntary independent basis and the arrangement does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
1.3 Participation is at MP’s sole discretion. Submitting your details or expressing an interest in participating does not guarantee selection for the Beta Testing Programme or early access to the Beta App or other services. MP will choose a group of participants from everyone who registers. If you are not chosen at the start, MP may still invite you later, for example if a place becomes free. You do not have to accept. MP may accept or reject applications or remove participants from the Beta Testing Programme at any time without prior notice.
2. Duration
2.1 These Terms apply from the moment you register. Your participation starts when MP confirms you have been chosen and gives you access to the Beta App and continues until terminated in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 MP may suspend or terminate your participation in the Beta Testing Programme immediately if you breach these Terms or act in a way that could harm MP’s reputation.
3. Role and Expectations
3.1 Participants agree to:
Comply with the Terms and requirements set out in Section 7 of these Terms;
Use the Beta App only for testing purposes and in accordance with any instructions provided by MP;
Provide honest and constructive feedback on the Beta App where requested;
Participate in research activities, where requested, including surveys, feedback forms, focus groups, telephone calls or video calls; and
Comply with all applicable laws and any testing guidelines provided by MP.
3.2 If selected, you may be invited to participate in research activities and provide feedback using methods including, but not limited to, surveys, feedback forms, focus groups, telephone calls and video calls.
3.3 Participants understand that being invited to take part in research, participating in the research programme, or receiving early access to the Beta App or other products and services does not form part of any product or service provided under their policy and is entirely separate. Participation will not affect the terms, pricing or handling of any insurance or related services.
3.4 Whether or not you are selected to take part, you agree that MP may use the details you provide in the registration survey, your customer profile information and your website and app usage data as part of its product development and testing process, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3.5 Whether or not you are selected, MP may keep your details for up to 24 months and invite you to take part in other testing or research programmes. You can opt out at any time.
3.6 Taking part does not entitle you to continued access to the Beta App, or other products or services.
4. Beta App
4.1 The Beta App is provided for testing purposes only and may not function correctly. Participants acknowledge that the Beta App may contain bugs, errors or incomplete functionality.
4.2 MP may modify, suspend or withdraw the Beta App, or your access to it, at any time without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property (IP) and Content Use
5.1 Any feedback, comments, suggestions, survey responses or other information you provide when registering for, or as part of the Beta Testing Programme (“Feedback”) remains your own but may be used by MP in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 You agree that MP may use Feedback you provide for product development, testing, service improvement and related research purposes without further compensation. You grant MP a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, publish and otherwise exploit Feedback for any purpose, including product development, testing, service improvement and related research, without further compensation. To the extent permitted by law, you waive and agree not to assert any moral rights in the Feedback.
5.3 The Beta App and all related materials remain the property of MP and may only be used for participation in the Beta Testing Programme.
6. Research Activities
6.1 Participation in research activities is voluntary and does not create any entitlement to compensation.

Provide honest feedback where requested;

Keep any non-public information relating to the Beta App confidential in accordance with Section 8.
7.2 Acceptable use. You must not: (a) copy, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Beta App, except to the limited extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law; (b) access, search, monitor or use the Beta App through any automated means, including bots, scrapers or crawlers; (c) probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or circumvent or breach any security or authentication measures; (d) interfere with, disrupt or attempt to disrupt the integrity or performance of the Beta App or related systems; (e) introduce any virus, malware or other harmful code; (f) use the Beta App for unlawful, infringing, harmful or offensive purposes; or (g) rent, lease, sell, assign, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit or make the Beta App available to any third party.
7.3 MP reserves the right to end a Participant’s engagement for conduct deemed harmful or inconsistent with MP’s interests or these Terms.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 Confidential Information means all non-public information disclosed by or on behalf of MP, including information about the Beta App, products, campaigns, partners, business plans, know-how, designs, code, and any Feedback where it reveals MP’s confidential materials. Confidential Information does not include information that: (a) is or becomes public other than through your breach; (b) was lawfully known to you before disclosure; (c) is independently developed without use of MP’s confidential information; or (d) is lawfully received from a third party without confidentiality restriction. Participants must not share or disclose any confidential or proprietary information about, the Beta App, MP’s products, campaigns, or partners that is not publicly available.
8.2 You must keep Confidential Information secret and not disclose it to any third party, nor use it for any purpose other than participating in the Beta Testing Programme. You may disclose Confidential Information to the extent required by law or a competent authority, provided that you give MP without undue delay written notice and reasonable cooperation to seek confidential treatment, where lawful to do so.
8.3 On request or when participation ends, you must without undue delay return or securely destroy all Confidential Information and related materials, except for one copy retained solely to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
8.4 These confidentiality obligations continue for two (2) years after participation ends, and any trade secrets remain protected for so long as they remain trade secrets.
9. Data Protection and Privacy Information
9.1 MP collects, processes and retains your personal information in accordance with UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.2 We are transparent about how we use your information, which is set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our Website.

10.2 MP suspension/termination. MP may suspend or terminate your participation on reasonable notice where practicable, or immediately if you breach these Terms or where, acting reasonably, your conduct could materially harm MP’s reputation.
10.3 End of the Programme. MP may end the Beta Testing Programme at any time. When it ends, your participation and your access to the Beta App end automatically, without notice.
10.4 Consequences of termination. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Beta App, delete or disable any pre-release builds, and return or securely destroy Confidential Information, subject to retaining one copy solely to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Personal data will be handled in accordance with Section 9 (Retention).
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
11.2 The Beta App and participation are provided on an “as is” basis for testing and evaluation.
11.3 We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses you suffer, including loss of profits, goodwill, or reputation.
11.4 Nothing in this Section limits your rights or remedies under data protection law or your statutory consumer rights.
12. General Terms
12.1 Changes to these Terms. We may make non-material updates at any time by posting the revised version in app or on our website. For material changes, we will give you reasonable advance notice, at least 30 days where practicable, by email or in-app notification. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop participating and uninstall the Beta App. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12.2 Notices. We may send notices or official communications to you by email to the contact details you provide.
