DialDirect’s Van insurance has three different levels of cover — Third party only, Third party fire, and theft and Comprehensive.

Third party only cover

DialDirects third party only insurance covers your liability to any person for death, bodily injury or damage to property caused by an accident involving your vehicle. It also provides cover for travelling abroad for up to 30 days in one policy term.

It also includes:

  • — Compulsory excess and voluntary excess of £0.

There’s no cover for loss or damage to your vehicle caused by accidental or malicious damage, fire, theft or attempted theft.

Third party, fire and theft cover

DialDirect’s Third party, fire and theft covers you for loss or damage to your vehicle that is caused by fire, theft or attempted theft. Also have cover for liability to any person for death, bodily injury, or damage to property caused by an accident involving your vehicle. This policy also covers you whilst travelling abroad for up to 30 days in any one policy term.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • — Cover for your audio, navigation and entertainment equipment.
  • — Compulsory excess from £100 as well as voluntary excess of £0.
  • — Included as standard on your policy.

However, you won’t be covered for theft of keys from the vehicle while it is left unattended as well as for driving another person’s car under this policy.

Comprehensive cover

Comprehensive cover is the highest level of cover that DialDirect offers. In it, you’ll be covered for damage to glass and cover for replacement locks if your keys are lost or stolen. It also offers cover if your vehicle is involved in an accident caused by an uninsured driver and any excess you have paid will be refunded. Cover for loss or damage to your vehicle caused by accidental or malicious damage, fire, theft or attempted theft and vandalism is included as standard.

With its comprehensive cover you can also benefit from:

  • Medical expenses — Cover up to £200 if you need medical help.
