Belton House

TOP DOG-FRIENDLY THINGS TO DO • NOTTINGHAM

You'll find over 1,300 acres of parkland just an hour away from Nottingham - making Belton a perfect place to visit with a dog in tow.

The National Trust property proudly welcomes all dogs (on short leads) to explore every inch of the lush gardens, parkland and courtyard areas - and even the gift shop, second-hand bookshop and Stables Café (where they sell doggy ice cream for a post-walk treat).

With a stunning backdrop of a Grade I listed country manor, this makes a great spot for a picnic. Top tip - head to Belmont Tower for the best views!

BEST BITS
  • A variety of woodland, hills & streams
  • Routes of all lengths & difficulties
  • Doggy ice cream on hand
