Handbook and IPID explainer

What's a handbook?

A handbook tells you the terms and conditions of the plan you've picked. It should clearly tell you what a plan does and doesn't cover.

It shares the obligations your insurer has, but it'll also describe key exclusions and examples; it's to help you understand your cover and know exactly what you can claim for.

What's an Insurance Policy Information Document (IPID)?

An IPID is a summary of the handbook. It's a standard format used by insurers to make comparing plans simpler.

You can think of this as a bird's-eye view of your cover, and it's intended to summarise the key points of your plan.
