It’s safe to say we’re pretty obsessed with dogs here at ManyPets. So we’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring one of our favourite shows, Paul O’Grady: For The Love Of Dogs, for the third year running.

We’ll be tuning in every Thursday at 8.30pm as the late Paul O’Grady returns to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and following the great work they do for the animals in their care. Fancy joining us?

Remembering Paul O’Grady

All of us at ManyPets were deeply saddened to hear the news that Paul O’Grady had passed away on 28th March 2023.

As well as entertaining us as a presenter and a comedian, we’ve long admired Paul’s immeasurable contribution to the world of pets, both as Battersea Ambassador, host of For The Love Of Dogs and all-round champion of rescue animals.

His adoration and passion for dogs, in addition to his work in conservation and animal welfare, were an inspiration to so many and there’s no doubt his influence has helped thousands of rescues find new homes. His legacy is one of warmth, joy and generosity that we know will continue for many years to come.

Our condolences go to Paul’s husband, friends, family and of course his own beloved dogs Nancy, Arfur, Conchita, Eddie, and Sausage.

Dog Breeds guides

Paul's first rescue from Battlesea was Eddie, a Chihuahua Jack Russell cross puppy, whom he adored and took in as his own. Over the years, Paul expanded his furry family by welcoming more rescue dogs into his Kent farm, including Boycie the Shih-tzu, Conchita the Maltese, the puppies Arfur & Nancy, and Sausage the Wire-haired Dachshund in 2021.
