A bilateral condition is a condition that can occur on both sides of the body. You can learn more about bilateral conditions here.

We’ll cover treatment for the following conditions, on both sides of the body, if your pet never suffered from them before your policy starts, within your annual vet fee limit:

• Hip and elbow dysplasia
• Luxating patella
• Cruciate ligament damage
• Otitis
• Cherry eye
• Entropion

We’re not able to pay for bilateral conditions in the first 12 months of the policy if the condition received treatment in the 24 months before your policy starts.
