When you’ve got a whole pack of pets to cover, we know the costs can quickly mount up. That’s where multi-pet insurance can help.
It has all the same benefits as our other pet insurance but rewards you with a discount when you insure more than one pet with us. Multi-pet insurance can work out cheaper than buying separately.
At ManyPets, we offer a multi-pet discount of up to 15%, which is available on all of our plans. That’s one of the highest multi-pet discounts in the UK – and it applies every year you renew.

How does our multi-pet insurance work?
It’s simple. Each pet has its own plan with it's own separate vet fee limit, so you don’t need to worry about cover being split between pets. You can take out a multi-pet plan from the start, or you can add a pet at any time via My Account. It works for cat insurance, dog insurance, kitten insurance and puppy insurance.
An example. You may choose to insure your cat on an Essential Care plan and your dog on a Complete Care plan. By insuring both pets with us, you'll qualify for a discount of up to 15% on their premium price.
You can even add pets that have pre-existing conditions. As long as your pet’s been free from signs, symptoms, treatment, medication or advice for an issue for two years before the policy start date, a condition will be treated as new once you have a plan with us.
For more recent issues, our Standard Care Pre-existing plan covers conditions free from signs, symptoms, treatment, medication and advice for at least three months before your policy start date and offers a multi-pet discount of up to 15% too.

How to choose the best insurance for multiple pets
You’ll need to think about whether each plan you're considering is suitable for the pet you have in mind. Look at the vet fee cover and plan features, and how important it is to have these covered.
You should also check how each plan works, whether it's Lifetime, per condition or time-limited, as this will affect how long you can claim for a condition. Don’t just focus on discounts or how cheap the multi-pet insurance is.
All our plans are Lifetime, and our Complete Care plan will cover your pet for dental illnesses and accidents up to £20,000 as long as your pet has an annual dental check-up and you follow any vet-recommended treatment within 6 months.

What is covered by a multi-pet plan?
A multi-pet plan covers the same things as a normal pet insurance plan. The main part of the policy is to cover vet fees to treat your pet for an accident or illness. All of our plans give you unlimited, 24/7 online vet advice.
Pet insurance won’t cover things like routine procedures, vaccinations or grooming.
Is multi-pet insurance cheaper than separate plans?
If you're insuring more than one pet with us then you'll automatically get a multi-pet discount of up to 15%.
What are the benefits of multi-pet insurance?

Can you get multi-dog insurance?

What is the claims process?
We offer a digital, paperless claims process. The quickest, most convenient way to make a claim is online via My Account. Because you can easily submit all the information we'll need straight away (like invoices and your pets medical history), it helps us process your claim much faster.
You can also give us a call on 0345 646 1213 - our friendly team are always happy to help.
You can track the progress of your claim by logging into My Account and clicking on 'My claims'. Don't worry if you haven't heard from us yet - if we've emailed you to say we've received your claim, we'll get in touch if we need any more information from you or your vet.
Can I get a Multi-pet policy for older cats and dogs?
Yes, you can get a multi-pet discount for older pets of up to 15% and there’s no upper age limit for pets to be insured.
But things change when your pet gets older.
We don’t cover death from illness once a pet turns nine.
If you take out a policy with us after your pet's seventh birthday, you'll need to pay a 20% co-payment on each claim.
Co-payments are a fixed percentage you will pay for your pet's treatment. We calculate this percentage from your vet bill minus the excess.
You can choose to pay a 10% or 20% co-payment when your pet is under seven to lower your insurance price.

Are pre-existing conditions included in multi-pet insurance plans?
If your pet has been free from signs, symptoms, treatment, medication or advice for the last two years before your policy start date, you’ll likely be able to pick any of our plans. Our up to 15% discount on multi-pet insurance applies if you insure more than one pet with us.
If your pet has had signs, symptoms, treatment, medication or advice for an issue within the two years before your policy start date or in the 14-day waiting period, it’s classed as pre-existing. We can cover those conditions under our Standard Care Pre-existing plan, once they’ve been free from treatment, medication or advice for three months before your policy start date.
How many pets can I insure on a Multi-pet policy?
You can insure up to five pets (cats and dogs combined) on the same plan when buying our insurance online. However, if you wish to add more pets you can – just give our friendly customer service team a call and they’ll sort it for you.
